I want to run a website that myself and othersailors use to enter
race results and organise a regatta results. By this I mean that it needs to be
able to hold sail numbers, skipper/crew names, boat names, and the place
they came in each race; it then needs to be able to collate the
overall points and organise them from least munber of point (first place)
to the most number of points (last place). It also needs to recognise places
such as DNF, DNS, DNC, OCS, DSQ all of which are awarded one extra point that
than the number of boats (12 boats=13 points if any of the places are awarded.
I want to make it a creative commons as clients should be able to use,
share and buildupon the work so they are able to create their own results and
publish them free of charge.
